Helpful Photo Shoot Information

• Come to the shoot with your hair rolled in advance. Please roll hair tight and under. Do not clip the front of the hair, this leaves a dent that cannot be removed. I prefer hot rollers and would like the hair to be sprayed with Redken Hot-Sets or other thermal setting spray while being rolled.
  

• Come to the shoot with a clean moisturized face with no make-up or tanner applied. I will apply the makeup at the shoot. You do not need fake eyelashes or flippers for the shoot. If you must wax your eyebrows please do so 3 days before the shoot so the irritation is reduced.
  

• It is important that you eat before your photo shoot, especially children. This way, they are not irritable during the shoot. If you want to bring a drink, that is fine. Just make sure you bring a straw not to mess up your lipstick.
  

• Be well rested and have enough sleep before your shoot. Children should have a nap before their scheduled shoot. Parents do not stress, children sense your uneasiness and become upset as a result. Sometimes if it is easier I will ask parents to leave the room while shooting it sometime helps the child shoot better.
  

• If your child is younger and responds to a special toy, please bring it and I may have you stand behind me to help get the desired look.
  

• Do not force your child to smile! I will ask if I need help with your child's expressions or poses. I am patient and I will get the desired look. Not every child needs to smile to look beautiful.
  

• Bring at least three different outfits per look. This insures you will have plenty of variety to choose from to make a successful shoot. It is also very important that you bring lots of accessories! Jewelry, flowers, ribbons, gloves, hats, hair bows, anything you can think of and be creative! This can be the key to a winning photo.
  

• If you choose you may bring with you two yards of any material that matches the outfits that you will be wearing. This helps in creating a custom background, only for you. We have many different colored backgrounds to choose from as well.
  

• We accept Paypal, as well as money orders and cash. No checks, no exceptions, no payment plans, shoots must be paid for in full before shooting begins.
  

• Shoots include sitting fee, hair, makeup, wardrobe selection, and proofs. Prints, retouching and shipping are extra.
  

• Photos all are copyrighted under the copyright laws of the United States. You may not use an outside retoucher or make digital enhancements to your proofs without written consent. I have retouchers I work with exclusively.
  

• Proofs will be emailed or mailed on CD with an order form and price list for ordering your prints/retouch. Turnaround times vary according to what is order and if you choose to “rush” your order. All prints require a shipping fee, I send my prints to a lab and they are shipped from the lab directly to you.
